Primary Teaching Services was established back in 1995 by our Chairman, Alan Lucas. Alan was a full-time teacher and the first products he created were IT, Science and English work schemes. Customers enquired about Schemes of Work for other subjects too, so he commissioned other teachers to write these and that is how the business started. He then turned his hand to producing simple but cost-effective rewards for pupils, starting with smiley face stickers, which are still available 25 years later!
Since those early days, when the company operated out of Alan's attic, PTS has grown into a well-established business, which still maintains a family feel made up of only 21 employees.
We got together as a group to decide what we considered was most important to us as individuals, the company and most importantly, our customers. From our discussions, we produced our Core Values, which are displayed all around the offices to remind us all of what is important to us every day.
