At Primary Teaching Services (PTS), we've been helping teachers reward, motivate and inspire pupils for over 30 years.

We're a UK-based supplier of affordable classroom rewards, teaching resources and personalised school products, supporting primary schools, teachers, teaching assistants and school office teams across the country.

From our much-loved smelly stickers and motivational stampers to certificates, postcards, reading record books and personalised rewards, we offer thousands of practical products to help make everyday school life that little bit easier.

Our Story: From a Teacher's Idea to PTS 

Primary Teaching Services was founded in 1995 by Alan Lucas, a full-time teacher who understood the challenges of everyday classroom life.

It all began with teaching resources. Alan initially developed schemes of work for IT, Science and English, before working with other teachers to expand the range into additional subjects.

He soon recognised the need for simple, affordable ways to reward and encourage pupils. One of his earliest ideas was a range of smiley face stickers – a product that remains part of our range today.

What started in Alan's attic has grown into an established UK business based in Preston, Lancashire, supplying schools throughout the country.

In October 2026, Primary Teaching Services became part of the Aford Awards portfolio, marking a new chapter in our story as we continue supporting teachers and schools across the UK.

Although we've grown considerably since those early days, our focus remains the same: providing great-quality products at prices schools can afford.

Rewards and Resources for Primary Schools

We know how much teachers and school staff have to juggle, and we believe finding the right rewards and resources should be straightforward.

Our range includes stickers, stampers, certificates, postcards, badges, reading record books, classroom resources and much more.

Whether you're recognising a pupil's achievement, encouraging positive behaviour, celebrating attendance or preparing for a new school term, we're here to help you find what you need.

We also offer a wide choice of personalised products, allowing teachers to add names, messages, logos and their own designs to selected rewards and resources.

Making School Ordering Easier 

We work with individual teachers, school offices, headteachers and education teams, so we understand that every school has different needs and budgets.

We aim to make ordering simple, with competitive prices, a helpful UK-based customer service team and a wide choice of products available from one place.

Schools can also order using a purchase order and pay by invoice, making it easier to manage purchases through their usual procurement processes.

With our own warehouse and despatch team in Preston, we handle orders directly and work hard to get the resources you need on their way as quickly as possible.
